  • I went in for an oil change, tire rotation, and brake cleaning. These were the recommendations of the April 11th screening. The brake cleaning was to cost $45 even with the tire rotation. Later the service person wanted to copy the April 11th findings. In the end, I was informed that my disc brakes did not require cleaning (saved me $45 and with a free oil change, the cost was less than $18). The folks up front really wanted me to trade my 2008 Malibu with 25,000 miles. They offered a trade of $14,000, AARP discount of $500, and rebate of $2,500. These numbers add up to $17,000, however, the written quote was: $29,930 - $17,000 = $13,930 (new modern math I guess). Read More >>
